Meet the Madcat, CFM-style! 🖌️🤖

Today’s project is a little something special—a Madcat mech sculpted by the ever-talented Locust Labs, painted up for none other than our good friend and supporter of the CFM madness, Iron Elemental! This iconic mech is decked out in a bold patchwork of red, black, and white, perfectly matching the colors of Iron Elemental’s personal mercenary company, the Iron Riders. Every panel and angle will tell a story of battle-hardened resolve and mercenary pride.

The Iron Riders make use of classic Games Workshop transfers to tie battletech back into older games from a bygone era.

And that’s not all—this mech wouldn’t be complete without a little something extra. On the base, we’ve added a happy little Clan Elemental, painted in steely grey to embody Iron Elemental himself. It’s a subtle nod to the man behind the mech, bringing a touch of personality (and maybe a touch of chaos) to this fierce display piece.

The journey of this Madcat culminates in a ten-minute minis video, where we race against the clock to pack a full-length Country Fried Minis offering into just a sixth of an hour. You’ll get an in-depth look at the techniques, color choices, and personal touches that brought this iconic mech to life—all wrapped up in our signature fast-paced, fun style.

Of course, the magic started during the live painting stream, where every brushstroke unfolded in real-time.
