Hunch the Gunch

After hearing rumors about the Tex Talk on the classic 50 tonner with a big gun and a big attitude, I began work in earnest on a truly larger-than-life version of this awesome chassis.

Full disclosure here - it wasn't completely my idea. I had posted an image of my 28mm scale MAD-3R Marauder over on Mechanical Frog's discord server and a quick comment by Locust Labs cemented this ambitious project.

An honest "I'd love to see one of my mechs in this scale" yielded a true and proper "Got U Fam" moment, and this project was born. Make sure to check out Locust Labs on both Patreon and Cults3d if you'd like to get your hands on this lovely model yourself!

This project was a total blast, and thoroughly inspired by the quality work by the crew over at the Black Pants Legion. I felt to very privileged to have woked on this project just 2 degrees separated from the BPL, and it's all thanks to the enthusiasm surrounding this model shared by Locust Labs and myself. What an honor!
