This fabulous 75mm scale pinup model was a joy to paint, bringing out bold contrasts and dramatic details that make her a true centerpiece. Inspired by the rugged aesthetic of a fearless barbarian warrior, this project let me flex my skills in both skin tones and textured metallics. Achieving her striking look took more than a little finesse—this was a masterclass in glazing! Layer upon translucent layer built up her luscious highlights, creating smooth transitions that make her curves pop (and we’re not just talking about the muscles).

With directional lighting in mind, every brushstroke worked to emphasize her bold pose, as though she’s stepping straight into a spotlight—or maybe into the heart of battle. Painting Thitania felt like telling a story—one filled with courage, beauty, and just enough sass to keep things spicy.

From brush to broadcast.
This project had quite the journey, with over a year passing between the original painting streams and the final edited video! The footage from those streams patiently waited on the backburner before finally making its way to the editing desk. It’s a great reminder that creative projects don’t have to be rushed—sometimes, they’re better with a little time to simmer. Watching Thitania come to life, from her radiant skin tones to her gleaming accessories, was well worth the wait.
